Two-Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating

Description

Non-tar two-component polyurethane waterproof coating is a double-component curing reaction type. Component A uses polyester and isocyanate as main materials. Component B is made of filler, vulcanization agent, catalysts, and additives. With the appropriate proportion, mixing component A and B and then coating on the substrate, form a elastic waterproof film as a whole after curing.

Recommended usage:

(subject to A: B= 1: 2 by weight) The usage for 1.0 mm thickness coating is about 1.5-1.7kg/square metre in case special area required to reinforce the effect of waterproof, adding fiber glass fabric or non-woven fabric on the coating.

Installation

1. Substrate cleaning: Ensure substrate is flat, solid, no water or seepage. If there is any seepage spot, plugging is necessary.

2. Joint treatment: Pipe area painting and inside/outside corners to be radium radius which inside corner D≧50mm and outside corner D≧10mm.

3. Reference bottom coating ratios: Mixing part A : B = 1 : 2 (weight ratio), and after fully mixing, spraying on substrate which thickness required to be 0.3mm.

4. Reference surface coating ratio: Mixing part A: B=1:2(weight ratio) till coating color turns to shiny.

5. Using brush or scraper to apply on substrate evenly. Applying second time in vertical direction when 1st time application is dried on surface, then repeat application to meet the required coating thickness.

6. Painting interval: according to the on-site situation, it takes around 12hrs for surface dry. Interval of each time of coating application is no sticking of former coating painting.

Attention

 Coating after mixing to be consumed within 20 mins.

 Temperature for application should be more than 5℃ and ensure it is ventilated.

 To ensure curing time, adding certain number of driers in winter application.

 Operators should wear protective clothes to keep eyes or skin away from coating.

 Coating that not finished should be sealed tight and kept properly.

 It’s not allowed to apply in rain, snow or dusty weather and avoid to apply in high temperature condition.

 It should be stored in cool and area and keeps it away from fire. In such condition, product shelf life is 12 months from the date of  production.
